About

I am an independent coach, facilitator and trainer, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people to explore ways to deal with situations that they are finding difficult or challenging. This can range from providing coaching support to an individual who needs to have a courageous conversation to guiding a department or team through a culture change programme.

My personal approach is characterised by building strong relationships with clients, honesty and a commitment to ensuring practical outcomes.

Clients that I typically work with are managers and leaders from Universities, Libraries, Local Authorities, the Health Service and small business owners.

Amazon Reviews:

  • ‘I cannot rate this book highly enough. I have learned a lot about myself and already am reaping the rewards of having followed the course. Not only that but I have used the information to improve the lives of those around me. An essential read for anyone who is not satisfied with the communication that is going on in their lives currently and wants to understand why, and do something about it.’

  • ‘I have been studying how to influence people for years and I thought I knew it all – I was wrong. Of course I don’t actually practice it all and that is what this book is about. It gets straight through the theory and puts you – the reader – in a place where you can immediately put into practice what you have learnt.’

  • ‘Most importantly this is a practical workbook, designed to be written on as you reflect on the ideas it puts forward. Use it as part of a formal course or for enlightened self learning. Which ever way you use it you won’t be disappointed and if you are a manager or business owner it is worth giving to your staff.’

  • ‘I’ve given the book 5 stars as I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This book is for anyone, who at times feels as though they need to draw on inner reserves to overcome certain uncomfortable situations. It highlights the fact that assertiveness is not about winning but about compromise.’
