Group Facilitation.

There are some events that you feel may benefit from being externally facilitated.  The following are some of the most common reasons that organisations seek an external facilitator:

  •  When everyone in the group needs to contribute – it can be difficult to manage content and process at the same time

  • If there are people in the group that may be intimidated by the status of others

  • Where there is distrust or rivalry within the group

  • When the issue is very complicated

  • If the problem being addressed is poorly defined

Some examples include:

  • Strategy sessions for teams to agree their vision and strategic objectives

  • Culture and values sessions

  • Team awaydays

  • Newly formed management and leadership teams exploring the way they are going to work together

  • Team dynamics sessions using 360 feedback or team diagnostics

  • “In half a day we identified the key things that we needed to do to adjust to the challenges of the COVID environment. Somehow Deborah made the process feel easy – thank you”

  • “Deborah’s style and approach balances the professional and systematic with the empathetic and insightful.  Deborah is able to challenge thinking and assumptions in a constructive and productive way.  Before entering a session with Deborah I am confident that I am in safe hands and after time with her I am amazed at how much progress we have made.’’

  • “I ‘love’ working with Deborah, I always come out of planning meetings feeling reinvigorated, her insight and wealth of experience across the sector are invaluable to me”
